Very simple use of colors, but the overall concept and presentation is well executed. It is clear this character is going to a concert and is a fan; he possesses all the looks and attire of someone ready to rock out and have a good time. The detail in his neck is especially good, and gives his alien/reptilian appearance more believability and texture. I'm not sure of what the object next to him is; it may be a door, a portal or some sort something else; it's ambiguous. The mask or head in the upper right corner, though, is a nice touch, and is in keeping with the theme. I would have liked to see more detail in his markings or tattoos, but its not entirely necessary, and too much detail would have thrown the technique off balance.
Its a highly stylized piece, mixed with some abstract elements. I'm not used to seeing this kind of art, so it was quite refreshing.
I really like this piece. Very good use of colours. very stylized. The shades of green working with the purpley-pink colour on the shirt give it a bit of atmosphere in my opinion. Makes me want to listen to some intense guitar music, possibly find a mosh pit haha. I'm a little confused as to what is in the background on the left but the ambiguity still works for the piece
I really love the colors in this piece ♪ ... despite being deathly afraid of zombies and such, haha! What I especially like is the way you did the neck! As well as the chin and arms. I am in love with the way you did the neck though. With supernatural creatures, it's very hard to figure out what kind of texture to give the skin. And yet, you did a bang on job with this! I love the extreme highlight colors, and I love how it seems like you were very free with this piece. It looks like you had so much fun doing this, whereas some artists (like me! >__<) sit in a chair, stiff, and struggle the whole way through every piece! Anyways, amazing job! ♥
i like the detailing you used in your piece by the neck, the use of light and darker colours around the body give it depth. the shirt may need a fold or two around the arm to show that it is an actual 3d object and not a 2d object with arms. i think it would be cooler to have had as much motion in the body as there is in the face but this is a pretty awesome piece!!
